Onboarding and dealing with inexperienced team members is a huge issue indeed. I didn’t discuss that in the article but you’re not wrong about that; Python might be better when you’re dealing with this a lot.

What you point out in the case of Scala is interesting, too; you’re right that it can shapeshift to a new language entirely. That kind of augments the problem of onboarding…
