You're raising an important point there; traction on StackOverflow isn't always equal to popularity. Not having to search for solutions sounds like a dream come true... I'm just checking Google Trends to cross-check; it seems like Swift gets about 3-5% of the traction that Python does. The trendline for Swift is flat or declining ever so slightly. It's not growing but it's not disappearing either.
